You do not have to type everything. Token can work with images, voice notes, and files you send it, right in the chat, on both Slack and WhatsApp.

Images

Send a screenshot or photo and Token can see it. Ask it to read a chart, pull the text out of a screenshot, or explain what is in the picture.

Voice notes

Record a voice note and Token turns it into text, then acts on it like any other message. Handy when typing is awkward.

Files

Share a document and Token picks it up. Add a note saying what you want done with it.

How to send them

Attach an image, audio clip, or file the normal way (drag and drop, or the clip icon), or record a clip. Add a note in the same message telling Token what to do with it.

Good to know

  • Add instructions in the same message. “What does this error mean?” with a screenshot works better than sending the image on its own.
  • Voice notes become text. Token transcribes them, so a spoken request is treated just like a typed one.
  • Keep files reasonably sized. Very large attachments may not come through.
Token works best with images and voice notes. It can also receive documents, but may not be able to read inside every file format. If in doubt, ask Token what it can see.
